Chelsy Cordon is a classically trained lyric soprano with a BFA in Musical Theatre from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Ever since Chelsy was a small child, she loved the stage and would always look forward to her small elementary school productions. When she was in high school, she realized that performing was what she wanted to do for the rest of her life and decided to pursue theatre professionally. Since then, she has appeared in productions such as Cabaret and has been a member of L.A. Opera's Zarzuela Project, in which she has been a featured soloists in excerpts of operas such as Carmen and Luisa Fernanda.

 

Chelsy believes that theatre is such an important and integral part of society. Theatre speaks in volumes and inspires others. She hopes that she can inspire and move those who see her perform just as she has been inspired and moved by countless performances that she has attended.

 

When she's not on stage or at rehearsal, Chelsy works as a commission based artist and costume designer.
